KIŠH Studio does not support unethical trade practices and are conscious to source ethically. Our suppliers generally source crystals from old collectors or closed mineral shops or directly with miners that they have long term relationships with. We are currently looking to form our own relationships with miners so that we can be even more transparent with you and will be sure to keep you updated.

What is Gold Filled?
GF is where gold is mechanically bonded to a base metal, we use jewellers brass.
By law it must be at least 5% or 1/20 of gold by weight.
In contrast standard gold plating is usually a microscopic amount of gold which is why it easily peels or flakes, exposing the under layer.
Because the 14k 'gold filled' layer is so much thicker than standard gold plating it’s much higher quality and can last for 10-30 years.

Gold filled and sterling silver jewellery must be consistently well cared for in order to keep it looking beautiful, please read the following information to help you take care of your jewellery and keep it in good condition.
Limit exposure to direct heat and sunlight.Keep your jewellery dry and put on after application of cosmetics and body products and lotions.
We strongly advise against wearing your jewellery at the beach, swimming pool, bathing or whilst playing sports.
Sea water and particularly chlorine and related products can severely discolour and damage your jewellery.
Limit contact with rough surfaces and other metals to avoid scratching and changes in colour.
Always remove your jewellery before going to bed and ideally keep in your original jewellery box provided with your purchase ♡
